>>4107032There's nothing extraordinary about his photos, you could pull it off too if you just sprayed and prayed. They're correctly exposed but that's about it for the technical aspects, the rest is just being there at the right moment. And a lot of "right moments" happen when you go where stuff is happening and snap like a maniac.
The entire point I'm making is ANYONE can do what Winogrand did. I did it without even intending it, found out when I was reviewing photos. But I won't call them art, because there was no intent. It's a readymade, and readymades are anti-art. The camera remembers the moments but I don't, meaning I didn't even inentionally capture them and therefore they couldn't possibly be art. With Winogrand it's the same, save for his few staged pics, that are undoubtedly art. To post my stuff would betray the point. YOU try doing it and see for yourself, rather than having me post and hailing me as some sort of genius for being at the right time and the right place pressing the button when I was shooting bursts with no regards for anything.
