Takes stills and vidya. I also have a Bushnell IR night vision camera for scoping out areas prior to urban exploring etc but the FLIR is the eyes of god. nothing can hide from it. also, like Predator, it has like 8 different colour palettes which show different degrees of contrast at different ends of the spectrum, so you can get lots of gradient detail even if eveyrthing is warm or everything is cold.
cost about a thousand Australian, lots of cheeper ripoffs available if you support chinese tech theft.
