>>4112240I got into photography years ago wanting to document the punk scene in my town before I realized my $250 starter kit Canon wasn't going to cut it. Years later I've still not shot any concerts, though I've done everything else. Now even though I have a way better camera and lens, when I got shows I see that a lot of bands are just bringing their own photographers along on tour with them. Relatives, roadies, girlfriends, there's so many photogs just traveling along now that I feel, well, too embarassed to ask as an amateur to do photos. Every venue around here requires a press pass now and written consent from the band. It's hard out here for a /p/imp.
