Looks like photographers are going to replaced by AI in relatively short time.

Even "consumer grade/Stable Diffusion" AI can do 1:1 photo realism without any outside input or training.
Hope you you only do photography as a hobby or have a Plan B career lol.

Otherwise life will pretty much continue as normal. People selling and doing the latest trend will get some minor money and minor fame and everything else will exist as a niche movement.

/p has never been trendy or doing the latest thing ever. It has always been a niche and always will so ai will have no impact here.

Sure you did, I've posted (edited for artifacts) AI created photos as a crude here as truing test and no-ones batted an eye. The only real way to get the raw EXIF and also see if the AI watermark is present (which can only be read by the AI).

ai or not, there's always someone that can do better out there, but the process is fun for me and i take pictures mostly just because i like to
actually excited for all this ai photo stuff because it seems like a good way to set up inspo / styling for actual shoots, basically a better way to mood board
same goes for storyboarding any little video projects, no more rough sketches
