Is it weird to wear sunglasses when taking photos?

no. my right eye is sensitive to light so I always wear sunglasses that are dark purple. I rarely shoot color (because color film isn't as cheap) but some times I see things that are not there due to the tint of the sunglasses.

I basically have to, I have an eye condition. When I shoot, I just push my specs up over the viewfinder and I'm usually shooting through a circular polarising filer anyway. Nobody cares, nobody's looking at you, if you're smart it won't affect your view through the camera.
