I'd think it's about 2-3x fair price. SMC Pentax-M in general are nice for being that they are: cheap film era manual lenses.
(Worn euro 5c,same lens with reverse ring.)

I've got a few of these, they suck
all 28mm or wider lenses from this generation ro older were fucking awful.
And autofocus and 1 stop faster aperture means that I miss less shots, because I care about pictures, you care about ReTrO ViNtAgE AeStHeTiCs as photography is an exercise in trying to look cool to you, not take photos.

Took snap with it while walking the dog. I'd say its fine for $£€30ish vintage consumer lens from 70s wide open. FF would have softer corners.

Is this the new bentax general? Super-Takumar 55/2 and 50/1.4 are such great lenses on film and fairly usable digital. I made this HDR snap with the 55/2 by merging three frames together with enfuse. Shutter speeds were 10s, 3/2s and 1/10s.

Why would i do that, i have a 35mm f1.4 on a ff body, with ibis, which means even if im being conservative on the ibis I could get the same shot as you, but with 6 to 7 stops less noise, and actually sharp. lmao.

For me it's the FA lenses because they're better, and the same price. Manual glass is only good for pentax cameras with the catch in focus feature because it doesn't work unless your lens is manual or has an MF/AF switch for some stupid reason.

135mm's and about are worth it for speed. IQ gets trashed by most kit zooms, but aperture can be useful. The rest of the old lenses are hipster taxed too much to be of use. You can get chinesium lenses that are priced lower and offer better quality even when bought brand new. No need to worry about scratches and stuff falling off, either.

I tried to correct it but even full adjustments were not enough to correct it. The red and green channels were several stops underexposed. I think it's better in monochrome anyway as it was such a gray scene.
