>>4113006OP you are looking externally but the answer actually lies within you.
You have to match your plan to who you are.
Terry is a wild crazy people person who takes photos with a group of his friends in the room with him while they all talk shit and make a party atmosphere. They are also party people who do all sorts of crazy shit and live outside the norms of society. They are 100% being themselves and basically capturing celelbrities in a wild crazy party world.
Other people are very process orientated and cant see anything outside gear and the exact specific process used to take a certain photo. They will most likely just leave the model to do her own thing how she does it.
You already are who you are so you need to build a system to fit this. Do you dream of shooting fashion editorials, shooting women nude, making niche art etc?
Are you process orientated and like to know your exact setup and shot before the shoot or do you prefer chaos and feel the best shots come from little planning and having to wing it on the shoot?
Is being popular on instagram and following the latest trend the top priority or would you prefer to find some small niche and master that one thing.
Once you figure all this stuff out, then you will have a clear path forward.
By the way you worded your question it sounds like you dont know as you are asking way to general questions with no actual directon. The answers would be totally different depending on what you actually want to do.
