What focal length produces pictures that are most similar to what we see with eyes? I don't care about embellishment, I want as accurate a representation of someone's face as possible.

Also, do modern cameras (not phone cameras) have filters or some other beautifying mechanisms built into them like phone cameras? Because it looks like the photos in the OP of this thread (>>4100901)'s video are smoothed out and disguise shit like wrinkles and pores.
I want to capture reality more than glamorize something artistically.
