Do you have a dedicated macro station?

I'm in the process of setting mine up, I think next I'm going to get some additional continuous lighting.

Might try using the extra arms to hols little reflectors. The built in light has several different color temperatures which is a lot nicer than my flash.

But when you find a cool dead bug and want a shot at 2:1 or above, shooting outdoors in a field is rather difficult. I tried this with a bumble bee but the little red mites kept bumping it

i scan bw with a ttartisan 40mm and have no complaints
supposedly it's a bit better optically than the 7artisans 60mm, this guy reviewed both: https://dustinabbott.net/2021/08/ttartisan-40mm-f2-8-11-macro-review-and-gallery/
