I've been doing professional work for about 15 years now and this little guy never ceases to amaze me.

My Leica M3 has crapped out on me numerous times when I've been working in the Arctic circle,
but my Olympia OY 4040 has stepped up the the plate every single time. Photo below was shot last year on my trusty Olympia after
my 60 year old Leica shit the bed again after a fresh CLA. Not this thing, just throw a couple double-A's in and you're good to go.
Pretty insane to think that some people like to adapt these lenses to Leica M-mount. Sure its sharper than most Leica glass out there,
but you're compromising reliability!

Needless to say it outclasses my Canon AE-1 and Olympus Stylus, not to mention it blows my Contax T3 out of the water.
The ancient Greeks believed that their gods and goddesses could bring good fortune and success to those who honored them, and
it certainly feels like it using the Olympia! Ha ha.

Anyone else ever shot with this camera? What's your experience been? Any other cameras like this you'd recommend?

Glad I got one before prices skyrocket, these are a gem!
