There are many things phones are optically and mechanically incapable of because of their small optics and extreme crop factor. You can take photos on a $150 camera and $100 lens that a phone can not honestly replicate and the whole experience/creative process is different. Camera gear is not prices sensibly/fairly either, optical technology hit a plateu ages ago where the only way to go is a bigger lens with more corrective elements. A lot of very expensive lenses do not perform noticeably better than very cheap lenses unless you test both of a 60mp sensor and zoom it at least 100% to get the nose-to-the-wall experience of looking at the maximum print size at 300dpi. and then you nitpick the... very negligible differences in how sharp a single strand of hair is.
at this point you're also going to check your phone and see the strand of hair is cut into 3 pieces and is twice as fat.
