I very recently bought a full frame mirrorless Snoy because I figured if they make everybody's sensors they should make decent cameras.
My only source of information regarding cameras is /p/ and a lot of people here bash Snoy's weather sealing/water resistance. How do I properly clean/dry my camera after a shoot in rain or heavy rain? I shot for a few hours in light rain recently and this is what I did about 5 hours after shooting:
>fully extend lens and wipe down barrel
>wipe down body of camera
>cover camera with a dry towel for 12 hours
>put camera back in bag where there is a bag of desiccant
Is this overly autistic for after rain care or would simply wiping the camera/lens down be enough? Would I be doing permanent damage if I don't wipe down the camera/lens immediately every time like I did this time? I had to travel for a bit after my shoot so my camera went into the bag wet and did not get wiped down for at least 5 hours
