To maintain order in the herd, simple, straightforward words must be used (it also helps that such words cover discrimination as a whole). "Hate speech" "discriminatory imagery" "any insult or discriminatory speech levied against a race, gender, religion, creed, disability..."

Hint: the base of effective progressivism is ultimately manipulation. Virtue is the goal but not the vehicle. Social progress is delivered in an armored tank. Language is subverted in a way that can not be subverted itself. New definitions are not made. Old ones are changed, and people don't even notice, they were already used to it without having to use a different word. Sometimes we must sacrifice our own feelings to change those of others.
