The title alone is worth a reconsideration from the spectator, such an abhorrent statement turns off a reasonable man and going to see another thing becomes normal, hence why "engagement is crucial", doing a hot take is part of your idea's build up and should be done later so the spectator hesitates from tuning off because he already invested time reading/seeing/hearing your shit, yours as in the artist not you specifically.
Starting off that aggressively can only bring condemnation and only the most curious of spectators will tune in, others will simply scroll and look into other things. Such tactic is only used by aforementioned shit-eaters, they haven't got the talent to engage creatively nor the integrity to simply state their opinion without using offensive tricks... unless they genuinely think such things.
Now we can say this isn't the case when a work is exhibited from an expecting audience, we have to wait and digest the work there, sadly for OP an imageboard and the YouTube site works as a gallery, if i don't like what i am seeing i simply jump onto another thing and digest at my own pace and liking. Here i smell shit so i rather not touch it, it might actually be a great piece but my experience strongly suggests me otherwise because i know shit is no good.
