Lower ISO and a better lighted environment will improve sharpness as it reduces noise. f-numbers around f/8 will be a lot sharper than your lens wide open or closed down too much. Focusing with live view will avoid calibration issues that your camera lens combination may have with the dedicated auto focus thats used through the viewfinder.
The larger you'll present this shot to people, the more people will feel its soft. People viewing it with a phone or used to phone cameras will rather get the impression it's sharp, people viewing it on a computer screen and close viewing dista will rather get the impression it's soft.
