Cameras have their place. But they are not the right tool for the job. You’re trying to say that pocketknives are replacing meat cleavers because you haven’t butchered a cow in your life and would starve if you had to.

I have a cheap iphone 8 because FUCK smartphone culture. Fuck the thing you carry around all the time having a 2-3 lens tumor and being bigger than the average male hand. Flagship phones are designed for people that also use them as their one and only computer and it makes them less usable as convenient communication devices.

Even if I bought the newest flagship SHITdroid I would still have a worse camera than an ancient olympus MILC

these things are getting ridiculous. they're not fully hand sized yet, fingertip to wrist, but they're already way larger than hand sized if you hold the base of the phone in the center of your palm like most people do. i have 9" hands and have to shift around a little to use a modern 6.5" phone.

zoomers need a big screen so they can see more of tiktok. texts? calls? emails? they don't do that, they don't talk to each other. they dance like monkeys and watch each other dancing like monkeys. zoomer social skills are so bad that 4chan users are now leaving their basements and appearing well adjusted by comparison.

I spent $1600 on an ILC setup and it takes way better photos than my phone, as well as my friends newer phones.
Camera body - $800
Zoom lens - $800

And it likely will for decades because phones still haven't bested ancient fucking FF DSLRs. All they do is run a glorified lightroom preset because normies think "vivid" colors = good, but I don't care about normies like a french chef doesn't care about the people who eat mcdonalds.

based, I have a Sony Xperia XZ1 of 2017, It can fit in my pockets, It has only one rear camera with manual control, 19 MP which is good because I like details, no embellishment of photos with AI, still running decently.

I've been using it for more than 3 years and don't want to change it yet.
