I currently use a t2i, have been for 10 years now and recently have started to get back in to photography again. Mostly a 'my family' shooter.
I picked up a few lens filters which really is what got me back into this. But with these filters i average hitting acceptable focus in about 30% of my shots. This is with both a sigma 30mm and a canon 85mm.
Even though i find the image quality perfectly acceptable on the body, the focus failure is holding me back and wasting my time.
Would upgrading to a newer camera solve this or is there no hope? Would mirrorless be better in this regard?
Serious replies only please. The filters are neutral density and diffusion.
