>>4126640>does that work in spaces where the subject and myself are the only people?if you're trying to project that you're not specifically taking photos of that person, then it can work. like if you're making it look like you're pointing your camera at something else, taking video, etc.
it also obviously depends on the sensitivity of the person. like if you're in a small room with only one other person that's not gonna work, but if you're walking down the street and somebody is walking towards you, it's totally doable.
no eye contact isn't for everyone, but I prefer it. there are plenty of street photographers who like to make deliberate eye contact when a person notices them and then smile, or even smile and say thank you. I prefer to avoid eye contact. I feel like it just lets me fluidly move in and out of the situation.
