Where does everybody get their framing done? A complete aluminum 18x24 frame with mat and AR glass (requirement) is like $170 at my local shop.
Am I skimping to go cheaper? I want it done well.

Framing is expensive, but it's also very easy, just get some frame moulding and a mitre saw and that's pretty much all you need.

AR glass varies in quality and price a shit ton, museum quality glass is outrageous, but honestly the most basic AR glass is plenty good enough, last A3 sheet I bought was about $20 from my local framers.

But I also got an A1 size authentic Edwardian plaster cast gilt gold frame from them with mid tier AR glass and a custom cut mat with bevelled and radiused corners. That was not cheap.
