Sony are very pro consumer, their bodies satisfy a lot more niche uses if you need, by far the largest ecosystem, and it's open mount means everyone is free to make lenses that are fully supported.
To give you an idea of how cucked Nikon users are, their 28-75 f2.8 is just a rebadge of the Sony mount tamron 28-75 1st gen edition, with a 30% price increase slapped on top. Sony gets the newer, better version first by years and for much less $.
