>>4136130You must have some automatic setting on like auto-ISO. If you actually set your ISO, aperture, and shutter speed it will shoot at those settings.
>>4136600It's bait / trolling. Phones lack a lot on hardware, but make up for it through automatic processing. If you just want to point and click, phones are great. If you want to get that X-S10 with only ever the kit lens and just leave it on auto, then yeah phone might be worth it.
If you want to take the time to learn exposure settings, learn different focal lengths and lenses, play around with processing, then crop, and m43 and even 1" cameras are still better.
FF does give you a bit more in performance, but for a lot of situations, it can be pretty indistinguishable from APS-C. Plenty of full time pros using APS-C with no issues.
>Is there really a massive difference between the two sensor sizes? Most any shot that isn't FF with f1.4 lens wide open is easily achievable through APS-C, and will get you approximately the same image quality. For the same field of view, and depth of field, even noise will be about the same.
>>4136628They won't. Maybe a fixed FF X100, but they're all-in on APS-C/GFX for ILC's.
>>4136631I also went a7 to Fuji APS-C, and been pretty content, but have also added back FF + GFX. Still use APS-C most of the time.
