Pretty straight forward. I want to become a decent photographer and I've saved up $1,500. What body and lenses should I buy and why?
My interests are travel photography lifestyle photography, if that's a term. I like portraits, but I don't think portraits are interesting on their own. I like photos of people doing interesting things in interesting places. By people I mainly mean my friends and family. Sometimes myself. I want to use it as a driving force to live a more interesting and fun life, by wanting to take photos and document the interesting things we do.
I can see myself taking a fair amount of photos in low light, either indoors and at night.
