His video on finding his style explains exactly why he sucks. He had a panicky self hating meltdown when he realized his photography was sort of derivative so instead of finding inspiration and really working on improving that, or just accepting that he was a similar person to someone else and letting time and age do their thing, he instead decided that he only had to be "different". He went out randomly snapshitting until he settled on a style that was devoid of style. Devoid of meaning. Devoid of a message. Devoid of feeling. Devoid. They might as well be AI generated paintings. Because if your photographs are of nothing, you aren't imitating anybody anyone knows about, because no one knows about anyone who takes photographs of nothing. It's easy to sumrise that he is then a gearfag because the only thing worth talking about when viewing his photography is how interesting the equipment is, but he doesn't have to be any more a gearfag than literally every photographer for that to be the case.
Because he photographs nothing and there is nothing behind a photo but the fact that it was taken. The end result is something like dollar store ansel adams, if ansel adams had so little interest in the content of his photographs that he would take pictures of the actual dollar store.
