Just started getting into photography, want to focus on landscape. Have been borrowing my dad's Nikon D5000 for the time being, which has gotten the job done thus far in terms of learning fundamentals and composition, but now I'm ready to buy my own body.
For landscape specifically, is there a general preference between DSLR and mirrorless? Will be looking for something full frame. After doing my research online between the two, seems like for landscape the only relevant difference between the two are size/weight and battery life, unless I'm missing something.
Also, not sure if my dad's camera is just old or if it's a Nikon thing, but when I make adjustments to the aperture, ISO, etc. I don't see the resulting exposure on the display until I take a photo. Can newer cameras show you the final result of your capture before you take it?
