I've pulled apart a few different lenses with mould inside them, typically pretty ease to get to 9/10 elements but one each one of these lenses, the mould was inside a sealed section, glued shut, inaccessible to a normal person. Was this planned obsolescence? these sections should also be air-tight so I don't see how mould grows in there in the first place.
