Hey /p/, looking for some advice for an upcoming event.
I'm shooting a wedding next weekend and was asked if I could take some film photos.
I'm trying to figure out which camera I should take with me to get the best film photos possible.
I have a Canon A-1 with a FD 50mm f/1.8
I also have a Canon 500N which I will be using with the Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4
I want the photos to have a proper film look to them but I also don't want the photos to come out looking shit. The A-1's lens will have that vintage look to it, but it's a manual focus and also just won't be as sharp as the Sigma.
But on the other hand the Sigma lens may be too perfect and take away from what the client wants. I haven't shot a roll with this lens yet so I have no idea how it will look.
I'll be using Portra 160 if that matters, it's the only 35mm color film available anywhere on short notice
