I got a Sirui 35mm 1.33 anamorphic for video, and I wanted to try it for photos, maybe it would look like a nice digital Xsan!
Coming from a Sigma Art, it's a completely different experience. The manual focus, manual aperture, the APSC crop, the squeezed look in camera, the colors ... it almost feels analog.
I had a lot of fun shooting this afternoon, but the workflow is pretty complicated. I tried different methods with Lightroom and Photoshop and came up with these few pics that I like.
Does any of you have experience with shooting anamorphic?
