>>4142815Selections are worst part of C1. Rating with stars and colours works great, better than LR, since gui is fully customisable, and not tied to fixed keys. Tagging with keywords is functional, but inferior because they have dated image selection controls, and no dedicated hotkey that would go to keywords entry tab. Searching through large catalogue by ratings, keywords, and camera settings is practically unusable. The time it takes the program to go through all the selected criteria is abnormal. It's ironic, since everything else about c1, is much faster compared to lr. Editing, working with multiple photos, copying and applying presets. Everything is such a timesaver, that you learn to live without a large database, and never even wish to start lightroom when you're forced to do so if you use it as a database along c1.
C1 requires a different approach to workflow, though. I'm sure that this will be annoying to everyone coming from LR, which is designed to be self sufficient.
