Why do people dislike Nikon? Out of the big three consumer/pro-sumer/professional DSLR/mirrorless manufacturers it seems to always get the most hate and is seen as a bit of a joke. Canon and Sony users will of course call the competitor's cameras shit but both of them come together to an agreement on their opinions on Nikon cameras.
Where did this reputation come from? Was it just memed into reality? Could Nikon have done anything to stop it?
