What is the quality of a screenshot? Do screenshots retain the colour depth of the jpeg/raw/tiff file you're screenshooting? does monitor color calibration affect the screenshot? What about screen brightness and size?

I got the gigapixel AI trial and its really cool but extorts you to buy otherwise puts a huge watermark it, but i can zoom in and screenshot and scroll down and screenshot then stitch together right? will it be a similar output anyway?
