Sometimes if I encounter something really cool or something that instantly connects with me emotionaly or in any other way, I tend to totaly lose my focus. I am likely to fuck up even the basics like shutter speed or pay regard to ISO/F-stop, not to mention a proper composition.
I just get carried away by the excitement of the motive that unfolded befor me, but I dont want that.

Feel free to share your thoughts about this topic. Maybe you never get any emotions when seeing something you like. Maybe you are a down-to-earth-no-fucks-ever-given-pro that just does his job. Maybe you can just understand what I'm trying to say.

To sum it up: how do you keep your cool when something excites you and how do you stay focused on the right way of both technical and artistic part of taking the picture.
