If you're more into taking detailed pictures or studio and modeling, that's still up there for dslr. Its all up to your standards on how you enjoy taking and making your photography. I'm liking the access this camera gives for my leisure. I just like taking instant pictures for fun but this one took the cake for me, you see, I'm not forced to waste a image every time I take a photo, but that's not my selling point or the printer itself only, the fact I can choose which picture I want to print is my selling point for the instax. You could give me the same argument that you could do this with your regular printer and camera but the aesthetic of grabbing a tiny picture is just something else.
