You need a faster 200mm lens to make the bokeh the same as a 300mm lens, but chances are you would stop the 300mm lens down to keep shit in focus anyways.
By arguing that cropping doesn't work, you are arguing that APS-C and micro four thirds equivalence doesn't work. And we all know that's a fucking lie. Crop and open the aperture = like using a bigger lens. The only thing that changes, pixels on target/resolution, is largely irrelevant.
