>>4154216Canon hasn't been the best brand basically since mirrorless got traction at minimum, but I think Nikon still produced finer DSLRs too. They've always produced ugly, bulbous bodies for boomers, with features needlessly crippled to push customers up market, always slow to react to the market and behind the times, and now their mask is off as they've gone full on anticonsumer with their third party RF lens policy. I wouldn't buy into their system for that reason alone even if they were producing the best bodies, but they aren't anyways. Pretty much every other brand is still making more featureful options at every price point.
They let their old normie brand recognition go to their heads, and Snoy (though the rest are still better too) has successfully mogged them in both products, and increasingly sales as well.
