>>4155711> who cares about "weather sealing", it doesn't mean shit.It’s funny you say this, the whole reason I went down the Olympus rabbit hole in the first place was because my Nikon 40mm f2 let water into my mount in a light rain. It was a cool lens and super light, but not something I’d rely on. If I still had my Z6 I’d never pick the 40 f2 over the glorious 50 f1.8.
I love the focal length though, so I went on a hunt for the ultimate travel/street 40mm lens and it was either the 20mm f1.4 or ricoh griiix. My buddy got dust in his grii so he kinda scared me off from that. I’m very happy with the olly lens, even if it’s a little pricy. It’s the only robust AF 40mm there is I think? Maybe the Sony G 40mm but I’m not really a fan of the ergos of their bodies. I’d like to try it one day though.
