tell me, are counterfeit lenses a concern in the world? especially when it comes to vintage lenses? pic related- i've been scouring for Canon FD lenses. the one on the left is much less expensive than the one on the right and claims to be mint condition, but i'm going insane thinking the one on the right is fake because it seems to only say "Canon Lens Made in Japan", while the one on the right actually says Canon FD with the length and everything.

am i just being paranoid? are there variances in the text on lenses? this has been driving me insane. also these are the only pictures so you can't see the other sides.
