I'm looking for a good pocket camera that I can take with me everywhere without annoying people and without carrying tons of gear.

I was looking at the Sony RX100, the Canon Powershot G7 3 and the Ricoh GR3. They all look alright, I don't really want to get the Sony because I feel the pictures I take with them always look a bit lifeless.

Any other recommendations? Compactness is the key here, but it should of course still be better than a phone camera, which I currently use.
