>>4156816It's a pretty solid camera, actually. It's great for running and gunning. But it's a good thing you didn't get one, because:
1) The menu system is absolute garbage, as is typical of Sony.
2) To get the most out of the camera, you need an external recorder.
3) You need expensive CF Express card to record at 4K 60fps and above.
3.5) The CF Express cards like dying. Especially mid-shoot. So be prepare to lose your precious recordings and to buy more cards.
4) While it has excellent auto focus, you need Sony's own lenses to really take advantage of it. Sony lenses are subpar and boring.
5) The only thing it does better than the completion is auto focus. So, if you don't absolutely need it, you're basically wasting your money.
6) SONY COLOR SCIENCE
I would advice against getting a hybrid camera. If you want to practice cinematography, I'd suggest buying a (used) Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. Don't bother with the 6K options. Then, buy a Canon-MT focal reducer. For photography, get some old Canon DSLR with an EF mount, like the 650D. You can find those for like $100. This way, you can share lenses.
