Looking for some advice /p/
A friend of a friend is selling a Canon R6 that is "like new" for $2,000AUD. They currently retail for $3,100-3,400 AUD.
I am currently using a single Canon EOS R that I've used extensively for the last 4 years and have been looking for an upgrade. I've been eyeing the R5 since it released but it's very expensive.
I've been doing paid work for a while now but am moving into wedding photography and a single card-slot camera and having to constantly switch lenses isn't cutting it anymore.
Thing is, if I buy this R6 then it's going to be my main camera from now on with the R as my secondary camera.
Is it worth getting this second-hand R6 for this price? I understand that it's technically better than my EOS R but the 20MP sensor is kind of putting me off...
I also did not even realize that an R6 Mk2 had released, which is $3,800 AUD.
What should I do? Is getting the R6 a good choice? I would be using it alongside my EOS R with 85mm and 35mm prime lenses respectively.
