>>4160309You could have also bought a panasonic gh5 thats better overall and won't rape you on lenses. Now you have a proprietary mount and can't buy third party glass that is just as good - something that can save you over a thousand dollars in the long run. At least it's fool frame right?
>>4160310>8 bit video>4k at 24fps>no IBIS>not smaller or lighter with 99% of the lenses unless you like to snoy it like when snoys cite their 2.5/2.8 lenses and ancient kind of shit 50mm f1.8 being smallLol.
>but the lenses have OIS!No, not all of them. You don't get a single 50mm prime with OIS. Only the telephoto lenses have it.
>But seriously it's 72 grams (2.5oz) lighter! The lenses make up for that rather quickly.
>but it's fool frame...If you actually print your photos not one person on earth will be table to tell the FF camera from APS-C unless they have 20/10 vision and get to view them from <1ft away.
Here's the thing: Canon HATES you. They want to lure you in with these gimped cameras that do not do half of what their peers do but look attractive on the shelf, they have you buy canon branded glass because nothing else works, and it can't work on anything else, and now if you want the same features as a cheap micro four thirds camera from 10 years ago you must upgrade to a $2500 canon camera. Gotcha. Sucker. Want out? Take a loss on all your lenses.
This is similar to the real reason nikon's Z mount is larger and shallower than it needs to be for full frame. So nikon Z glass can't be moved to any other systems. Although nikon doesn't hate you that badly - you get sigma/tamron/samyang/viltrox/meike AF lenses as long as the manufacturer states an odd focal length, you can adapt cheap and plentiful sony lenses, and all of the full frame bodies have IBIS.
