I enrolled in local photography class because I was feeling lonely and thought I could make friends there.
The professor "ackchyually"ed me for not using the viewfinder. I said that I'm not comfortable using it because of my glasses. He said that I should get comfortable because I need to see what I'm photographing. I replied that I only need to wing the framing and don't want to spend too much time being lost in the settings. He said that I need to to learn properly. I said that I'll correct and do those decision in post and I want to be more present in the moment when we're out taking pictures. He disagreed.
It was awkward and I think now the other people don't really like me as I tried to make conversations and they kind of dismissed me from their circle. I think the professor was correct, but was I really so incorrect with my thinking too?
Should I stop going?
