this came with the used a6000 I just bought.. works fine in natural light but I noticed in artificial light it is dim.. like really dim. if it's nighttime, but I have all the lights on in my house, photos are nearly pitch black and I can only see the outline of stuff, and if I point it directly at a light source, I can only see the bright lightbulb and maybe a few inches around it illuminated, everything else is still dark.
the kit lens and this other sigma(?) wide angle lens that were included work just fine in fake lights. and yeah I did play with the settings, tried every option and it seems to almost completely remove film grain but nothing actually gets brighter, I'll try to upload some samples
not a /p/ guy and I'm also not trying to start a Brand war, I just want to know if this is normal behavior, and if you guys know of any other brands of zoom lenses that don't have this issue but aren't too costly (this ones like $200-300 on Amazon). I didn't plan on using it too much since I bought this for vacations and don't really zoom in that far, but I did want to take night photos of some mountains nearby, I guess this is a daytime only lens lol
