help me decide if u want
looking for a new camera but i don't know which one i want...
i like that the olympus because its compact and ive shot with omd's before and i really like them
i like the 5d cus i really like the FF's ability to shoot in low light
i think i like the photos that come out of the 5d iii more but the omd would be something im more motivated to shoot with as i like small cameras.
if you had to pick between these two, which would you choose and why?

A canon 5d is not a low light camera. Canon's sensors are shit for hobbyist/art stuff and more optimized for readout speed for those "professionals" that could be replaced by an AI controlled drone - sports photographers.

If you really want full frame, buy a nikon Z5 if you can afford it or a D810 or D800 if you can't. If you're looking at high budget micro four thirds like that, fuji APS-C cameras (XS10, XT4, XH1) are just better and about the same price. The correct way to use micro four thirds is to buy cheaper and smaller cameras under $500.

top 50 names in the photography world (all fields except sports and docu included) 42 of them use either Hasselblad or Phase One systems as their primary and main systems on top of whatever else they are shooting. 2 of them are using old large format film cameras and 6 of them are still stuck in the DSLR era and are using old Nikon/Canon 1DXll or D5 bodies. again this is ALL FIELDS except sports and docu included. 42 hasselblads/phaseones, 2 film cams and 6 DSLRs.

i remember watching an interview where he said his highest paid job he got 120k for a day of shooting! dude made 120k in a single day!! ''''''not well paid''''' was literally on a WRC event in Sweden in february and a guy literally said he gets paid thousands to just sit and eat BBQ and drink beer all day while pressing shutter button and creating snapshits for WRC. even blue collar snapshittery pays well.

Right and not my objection. 2000 EUR for a wedding is too little given the effort and expenses, ignoring expertise and liability. Many wedding photographers don't even ask for that given they shoot alone. If they have still good results, my take is, they do it for the passion. And that's essentially what I was aiming at: it's unattractive for starters and people with no fulfillment in photography. Sports and news is often paid even worse, in particular when freelancing. You're exaples are not the generality.
I've only seen shit wedding photos once and it was a photographer asking 700 EUR for a day, submitting the majority of shots oof, only with occasional corrections, then converting some shots in a quick fix to b&w, too.
Still, I stand or even feel like backing up

Portability is a meme. What lenses do you have for Canon? If they are EF (not EF-S) and have good IS then maybe the 5D3 isn't such a bad idea. But for low light Canon you want 5D4 and newer, you take a big performance hit with the rest. Even the 6D is preferable to the 5D3 (unless you're thinking of shooting RAW video with Magic Lantern, 5D3 gets less artifacts).

It's one of the forms that low light performance takes. You know exposure is about how much light hits the photosensitive target right?
Stabilization allows you to stop down without getting a noisy mess. If you need to get close full frame is horrible for low light unless it's a stupidly clean sensor, because the DoF becomes razor thin and conditions your composition.

If you want to talk about photography as an art form you’re still retarded. The only criterion to be doing photography as art is to have artistic intent when taking the photo, rather than doing it for purely commercial or documentary purposes. Doesn’t make it *good* art, but it nonetheless is.

How many people do you think there are with MF cameras out there, compared to M43, APS-C and FF? I promise you, your precious Hasselblads are still in the minority of people making art with cameras.
