Going to Japan soon, and I want to take a lot of photos.
I've already been twice before, but it was a while ago and before I knew even a quarter of the shit I now know about photography.
But I have a bit of a dilemma. I love shooting film, and I really really want to shoot film on my visit there. But I also need to think about this economically.
Film stock is non-existent and film prices are sky high. Not to mention cost of development. So taking a digital camera seems like the logical choice.
But, on the other hand, I have a very specific concept in mind. Something that I don't think I can achieve with a digital camera.
What would you do in this situation, /p/?
For context, I would be choosing between a Canon A-1 for film or the Fuji X100V for digital. Unless of course you can recommend me a better film camera to take with me that is still travel friendly and will provide great results.
