Can anyone share their experience regarding mist and diffusion filters?
I started doing a lot of nighttime photography and while i like the effect i worry about loss of contrast, or having that slightly soapy feel.
Looking at comparisons i like the cheap K&F 1/8 the most,for it's subtle effect and not overly scatted light. However there is also the Hoya Mist Diffuser Black No. 0.5 that does the same and has a slight mist effect, that just cant find too much about. Tiffen just overdo it in my opinion.
Guess i just want someone's opinions on what it's been like before i shill out 50$.
