Sony; 55 ZA + Otus 55 + GM 135
Picture I posted is not a portrait and is not shot with any of the above mentioned lenses but I had to post one of my wide angle shots for reasons you can thank anons mentioned below.
>>4167656Those are just what I do professionally... In my free time I shoot with an SL2S and I shoot everything. My apologies that I'm shooting in some of the most demanding fields! I'll stop doing what I do and I'll start shooting landscapes, weddings, events, sports and street, because those are definitely harder, more demanding and more expressive fields! (That was sarcasm in case your tiny brain didn't catch up.)
>>4167661Far from a ''snoyboy.'' The only reason I even own a Sony camera is because, for one, how well the a1 files work with X2D/X1D files and because Sony RAW's look much better in Capture One compared to Nikon or Canon files. Secondly, because Sony cameras perform the best with adapters and manual focus lenses (my Otus.) If anything, you can call me a ''Hasselblad boy'' because that's who I support the most and that's which company I am most loyal to, not Sony, not Canon, not Nikon, not Leica, not Fujifilm... Hasselblad!
>>4167656>>4167661Oh and I used to do plenty of 21mm and 35mm compositions back when I did only portraiture and fine art. However, unlike you, I've grown to realize (or I should say learn) that wider focal lengths are absolutely terrible, especially if you want to do anything more expressive and creative than just compose images that look like phone snapshots. After I got more serious, I shot with a 35mm instead of 50mm for the longest time but then I tried a 40mm and realized that my images look better with a 40mm... Then one thing lead to another and soon enough I was back to trying out 50mm lenses and kind of slowly transitioned to the 50mm because my images look way better than the ones on 35mm... Anywayyyyyyss... Anything wider than 35mm is a joke!
