Just 1963, Pentax SV.
The guy wanted the equivalent of $65 for the lens, but sold the camera for 30$ not knowing it came with one.

It's been a literal decades since I used a film camera but as I I'm now the indifferent owner of one I guess I'll make use of it. On the whole I was just hoping to adapt.

Also some sort of ceiling gasket had disintegrated in it and it's full of black dust. Great.

Maybe I want to use it then. The lens is clean tho.

Ok so...

With the aid of alcohol, microfiber, q-tips and soft ply tissue paper this thing is clean enough I would be willing to put a roll of film through it. I also disassembled the top and put the tiniest drop of a lubricant and anti-rust agent wherever I thought needed . None of the springs seem to be in bad shape so that's a plus, though there's a slight mist over the mirror. I won't let it die on me.

On initial inspection the lens seems completely clean, and has that yellow radioactive glow it's supposed to.

Anyone uses this camera?
Is it any good?
What would be some appropriate film to shoot in it?

I just knew about the lens, the camera is a mystery to me and I've been out of the film game for a while.

Exactly the same as what my dad bought new in japan late 1963/early 1964.

If its got the 50mm f/1.8 then that is a great lens (but there are different editions out there with different coatings, either way, still good).

I have used it a bit, yeah its a bit heavy but its enjoyable to use.

I hope you take some great photos with it
