Your hole is way too big. I suggest you to use a syringe needle and to paint black the inner side of the foil and aldo the exterior in the area where you will poke the hole.
You can try to flatten the hole edges.
Funfact: the focal length of this "lens" it's exactly the distance between the hole and the sensor and you can "design a contraption" to change it with cardboard tubes.
if the hole is small enought the pic will always be in focus, the only drawback is the very long exposure time. I used a rubber band and bulb shutter to keep nice 5 minutes exposures.
In practice, with the smallest needle (0.20mm), considering a flange distance of 18mm (Sony E) ant to place the foil directly on the camera, you will have a F/90 aperture! F/90 it's just 10 stops more than F/2.8. It's a lot, but you should be able to capture exterior pictures in daylight with not much issues.
