If there ever was it is now legally required for it to have a disclaimer as "alternative and false, conspiracy theory". This should have been obvious to you when the US was protecting itself from prosecution for developing new biological weapons using chinese laboratories when covid-19 leaked and there was a massive push saying "conspiracy theories are caused by a mental disorder, broken people with bad childhoods, ugly people, insane people, with odd sexual interests". In the same breath you say it is good we are not russia, they diagnosed political dissidents with schizophrenia.
The only difference between you america and us russia is that you have a few other countries agreeing with your propaganda so your version of the truth looks more solid than ours. But you can not walk out your door without seeing it anyways. Facebook or no facebook. It makes no difference. Society is held together by propaganda.
