John Hedgecoe TV series in the 1980s

No.4175374 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
In the 1980s, when I was a child, the series "What a Picture" by the professor of photography John Hedgecoe was broadcast on an English channel, probably Sky. At the same time, my father, who had curbed my enthusiasm for photography because he didn't want me to pursue it professionally, wanted to watch something else on our colour TV, so I fled to the bedroom, where there was a second TV, but only a black-and-white one. I only remember two episodes and that Hedgecoe used a 35 mm SLR Pentax camera in the series. Also, Hedgecoe was always smartly dressed and wore a scarf and a jacket. I had missed the other episodes. Now 30 years have passed, my father is long dead, I have stuck with photography and regret not making it my career. How many episodes were there? What would I have become if I had finished watching the TV series?
